There was this AWESOME article in the NY Times about "Miracle Fruit". I think I am going to get some and give it a try! It's like drugs, but legal! It really helps that I like citrus things! This is really so cool!!

Book Club Update:

We're starting with Lolita. We'll be discussing it on Saturday June 7th, time to be determined when Nico gets back this weekend.

yo yo...you should all check out the HBO movie Recount. I just watched it and enjoyed it greatly. Even though I knew the outcome it was still very entertaining. it woulda been nice to see a cameo by the actual al gore/george bush, by meh. good movie

what up.

wanted to share, i laughed out loud all through this indy review, but i know people hate reading reviews, so i'm just going to post the best part with minimal spoiler as to how the review rates it:

"And [Harrison Ford] has scrappy fun mixing it up with Shia LaBeouf, who is terrific as Mutt, the biker kid who joins Indy on a mission to find the Crystal dildo or whatever the hell it is. “What are you, like, eighty?” asks Mutt, an insult he has to eat after a motorcycle chase that shows gramps still has what it takes."

check it.

Hello everyone. I've always wanted to do a book club, in a nerdy kind of way. And apparently so has Nico. And also since we're both on a similar mission of reading books that we feel we "should" read at some point, we decided we'd do a sort-of book club. Basically reading a book a week for the summer (10 weeks, 10 books) and having some form of discussion about them. The discussion will have to be over the phone/skype/AIM chats because Nico will be at Williams.

The book list is: Lolita, To Kill a Mockingbird, Othello, Crime and Punishment, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Slaughterhouse-Five, Pride and Prejudice, Old Man and the Sea, Middlemarch, and Paradise Lost.

Anyone is welcome to join! And you can just cherry pick which books you want if you prefer. You don't have to do all ten.

yo yo...i watched the movie Vacancy last nite with luke wilson and lovely kate beckinsale. it was a nice little thriller. every time i watch movies like these where regular people get into precarious situations it even more confirms the fact that i need to have a handgun near me at all times. whenever i see movies like these i think of how sweet it would be if the person was an armed citizen, how interesting the plot would veer. being able to exact revenge on someone is pretty sweet. i think that's why that infamous scene in pulp fiction is such a cool scene, aside from the butt rape.
i think i might do another powerlifting meet end of june.

that is all

i barely get my name out there, and suddenly some singer songwriter steals my thunder on the front page of spin's website? fuck me.

yo yo....a few things

1. im never going to a concert again(unless its at the highline ballroom). ticket master surcharges are worse than ever...i just paid 40 dollars for a 20 dollar ticket

2. i would like to see a format change for iron chef america. i don't like how they bring secret things with them, and how they immediately know what they're making when they start, it makes it seem fake. i would like to see the rules make it where each contestant uses the same supplies and same ingredients available to them...i'd also like to see some footage of the planning stage...like seeing the chef and his sous chefs figure out what they gonna make with the special ingredient, so it doesn't seem so planned

what up.

big news, i am now in charge of editorials on www.baeblemusic.com. i am also becoming very fluent in html. wow!

so if you want to see a blog where i am actually required to post at least twice a day, check it out here. That's my first album review, complete with a nod to chavo for introducing me to the band nearly four years ago. and check back every day, since i'll be the main poster/reviewer for the summer. p.s. this is so much fun.

See everyone, stereotypes ARE true!!!!!!!

yo yo...there are some sports that i find totally wasteful. NASCAR for starters. especially with escalating gas prices, but still, driving 50 cars 300 miles is SO wasteful. i also cant imagine those cars get good gas mileage
also horse racing. i find it more inhumane rather than wasteful because i dont think anyone actually enjoys watching it as a sport...they prolly only do for betting purposes. you see horses that get injured and have to be put down on the racetrack (happend today at kentucky derby) its very sad..horses are good animals

I was speaking to Adam the other day about GTA4 and he mentioned that "driving drunk is hard" in the game. And I said that it would only be a matter of time before someone bitched that the game promotes driving drunk. Here is it, MADD (cunty mothers against driving drunk) is complaining that GTA4 makes light of the issue of drunk driving, and is calling on Rockstar Games to pull GTA4 off the shelves out of respect for the people who have been victims of drunk drivers.

Kill yourselves, MADD. Preferably by drunk driving your car into a preschool. And if you don't want to do that, at least wipe the sand out of your vag and stop complaining about the wrong things. Stupid cunt-ass bitches.
